Hair loss, no matter how undesirable, is inevitable and quite natural. Men, women and children can all be affected and many millions worldwide are, but the list of reasons for this occurrence is very long. The correct term for hair loss is Alopecia. Almost ninety five percent of cases of hair loss in men are hereditary and often referred to as male pattern baldness but the correct term is Androgenic Alopecia.

Hair Loss

What most people don’t know that is if your hair loss is only moderate, it may be that your eating habits are causing the problem and your diet needs to be assessed. Other reasons are quite natural and you may be aware of a surrounding problem such as stress, mental tension or a hormonal imbalance, but others such as exposure to chemicals or cosmetics may not be so obvious. If your problem has not caused any damage to hair follicles themselves then there is a good chance that the hair will return. Often considered as a purely male problem, in America women actually make up forty percent of people that suffer with some form of the condition.

Hair loss is in fact more common with women as they age but it is often caused by a thyroid problem. By the time they reach sixty, forty percent of women around the world will have experienced loss of some form or another. Another period where women may suffer some hair loss that is not age related is during and after pregnancy. Approximately 30 million women in the United States experience female pattern, hereditary baldness.

A new but a treatment that is becoming increasingly popular is surgical hair restoration; it is considered the ultimate solution for those who suffer with permanent hair loss. Simply put, it is the transplantation of healthy hair follicles from one area of the scalp to another. The whole hair transplant procedure is carried out on an out-patient basis under local anesthetic and is becoming the most routinely used form of treatment for males. Facelift surgery can often leave scarring so many women are using the same hair transplant treatment that men are to disguise these scars; or when they have lost their hair for other reasons.

It is important to try and keep your appearance as close as possible to your original when having hair transplant therapy and not try to look like someone else. For a person planning on having hair transplant surgery, all current health issues must be cleared up before any treatment can commence. Even though hair restoration is a cosmetic procedure, aspects involved are different from other forms of cosmetic surgeries. Although the field of hair restoration treatment continues to move forward with new discoveries, there is no guarantee that any will work for you and surgical hair transplants might be your only option to solving your hair loss problem.

By now, almost everyone who uses health and dietary supplements will have heard of the amazing antioxidant properties of green tea, not to mention many others that benefit us. People requiring a natural product to burn calories will not find anything to compare with green tea weight loss supplements.

It has a wide range of benefits for the human metabolism but first and foremost, it has great anti-aging properties, accelerating cell regeneration and slowing the oxidation process in the system. However, weight loss treatments using it rely on the laxative and toxin purging qualities of the plant that speed up the metabolism. The way to stop fat from forming is by burning calories faster than they can be put on as excess weight, and this is where the product excels.

Green Tea

The use of green tea weight loss products still requires effort on the part of the person who wants to lose weight; meaning exercise and healthy food are still required. If you want to achieve a healthier body and lifestyle then changes to your eating habits will be necessary along with other adjustments.

Although green tea can be used at any time of the day and in many ways as a beverage, it is most effective when taken immediately before bed. It is quite normal for most people to find they’re stomach and bowel upset during the first few days after using the product but this should not last much longer than this. Such green tea weight loss effects are normal, particularly if you haven’t used the plant before as the body adjusts to the accelerated metabolism that eliminates the toxins much faster, before they pass into the blood. Providing you stick to your diet which would include exercise, an increase in fluids and vegetables you will see benefits within seven days of starting your diet.

Sometimes you will find ginseng is mixed with green tea to improve its properties and effectiveness. Ginseng helps by adding minerals and vitamins that will increase its efficiency and detoxification properties.

Ginseng is also beneficial for the immune system and when used in combination with green tea, helps to improve the energy level of a person who is losing weight so they do not feel so lethargic. Although safe to use, ginseng and green tea are not normally used for periods beyond six months at a time.
